hi there...

I'm Rachel,
HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTIST AND LOVER OF ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL.

Thank you for visiting today, I'm so glad you're here!  I am a Northern California based hair and makeup artist specializing in luxury bridal beauty, commercial hair and makeup artistry, and artistry education.  Born and raised in Huntington Beach California, I graduated from college as a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist in 2006.

Over the years I have trained my eye for perfection by creating balanced, natural looks and training with the top educators in my field.  Most recently, my work has been featured in Vogue Japan and Vogue Weddings, and my commercial clients include BHLDN, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tatcha, Ole Henricksen and more.

my philosophy..

EFFORTLESS, NATURAL BEAUTY

My favorite way to describe my signature style is "Noticeable, yet natural." - with an emphasis on creating a flawless, glowing complexion and eyes that subtly pop. Makeup is not one-size-fits-all, and my approach to makeup is tailored to each client's individuality and comfort level.  From the glamorous to most natural of looks, each look I create is bespoke to every bride's unique preferences and taste.

kind words

"I can not begin to describe how lucky I was to have Rachel as a part of my wedding day.  She knew what I wanted before I even pulled a photo up on Pinterest!  She really takes the time to listen and her attention to every detail is amazing.  She was by far my best investment as a bride!"

- NATALIA, July 2019

"Rachel is absolutely incredible. We could not have been more impressed with her professionalism, amazing talent, and great energy. I've never felt more beautiful and I know my family was so happy, too."
